It’s no secret that I am a diehard devotee (read: groupie) of RMS Beauty.  While being effective and providing a beautiful, modern palette, it’s simply the purest makeup line around.  I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of RMS’ latest addition, Tinted “Un” Powder, and not surprisingly, I L-O-V-E it.

A mineral-tinted version of their classic “Un” Powder, this light-as-a-feather foundation (I hate to even call it that) provides sheer coverage while light-reflective pigments create a soft-focus effect, blurring fine lines and pores – for real.  The star ingredient, 100% pure silica, is gentle, silky and ultra-fine, but absorbs shine beautifully without making skin appear chalky or dry.  (So, I promise you won’t look like that girl, you know the one, who has too much cheap “mineral” foundation on her face…)  Also, while there are only three shades, they are really versatile and seem to self-adjust to your skin tone when applied.

How to apply: Tinted “Un” Powder works perfectly with the Green Beauty cult-favorite “Un” Cover-up to provide full coverage where you need it.  Personally, I like to tap “Un” Cover-up in #22 onto any imperfections (dark circles, hyperpigmentation, blemishes) with my finger tip. Then, using the RMS powder puff, I gently press the Tinted “Un” Powder in #2-3 all over my face and neck.  The two blend together seamlessly, and the result is a flawless complexion that doesn’t look like it’s wearing makeup.  For those of you with clear, unblemished skin, (I don’t want to meet you/hang out with you) all you need is a quick pat of the Tinted “Un” Powder and you’re ready to roll.  Cost: $34 for .32 oz.  Purchase it here.

Ingredients: Silica, Iron Oxides: CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499.  As always, talc free, silicone free, perfume free and paraben free.

And, just because I love you:
